Webinar Terms and Conditions

SEMINAR & WEBINAR PARTICIPATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By participating in or registering to participate in a seminar or webinar (“Seminar”) conducted or hosted by Bannermans Lawyers, you confirm your agreement to the following terms and conditions:

  • You must not participate in the Seminar unless registered for that purpose.
  • You must not record, film, or photograph any part of the Seminar in any format, including audio recording, video recording or through the use of mobile devices.
  • Bannermans may record the seminar in any format and use such recording in such manner as it thinks fit and you waive any moral rights in relation to such use.
  • Bannermans Lawyers is and will remain the owner of any copyright or other intellectual property rights in any materials provided to you by Bannermans Lawyers in conjunction with the Seminar and any recording of the Seminar (“Materials”).
  • To obtain a CPD certificate for these sessions you must register for the session to ensure your details are on the Zoom attendance report and complete the quiz at the completion of the course.
  • Except to the extent that Bannermans Lawyers consents in writing, you must not copy, modify, adapt, publish, or otherwise distribute the whole or any part of the Materials:
    • No refund will be provided for non-attendance.
    • If Bannermans Lawyers cancels a Seminar, Bannermans Lawyers will refund 100% of the registration fee, but will have no other liability.
    • If Bannermans Lawyers reschedules a Seminar and you cannot participate at the rescheduled time, Bannermans Lawyers will refund 100% of the registration fee, but will have no other liability.
  • Views expressed by a presenter at a Seminar or in Materials, not being a principal or employee of Bannermans Lawyers, are not necessarily the views of or endorsed by Bannermans Lawyers an Bannermans Lawyers makes no warranty or representation in relation to the accuracy of any such Materials.
  • If a Seminar involves personal attendance or online communication:
    • You must act not disrespectfully to any presenter or other participant and not in any way disrupt the Seminar, including by using the Seminar to promote yourself or your business.
    • Your participation may be recorded and copyright in any recording of your participation vests in Bannermans Lawyers.
  • Any information provided constitutes general information not taking into account your specific circumstances or requirements and you should obtain independent professional advice prior to making any decision involving that information and you release Bannermans Lawyers from any and all liability, including liability for negligence, in respect of use of such information.
  • Bannermans Lawyers may use personal information relating to you for the purpose of sending you further information which Bannermans Lawyers determines may be of interest to you, including:
    • Details of upcoming events.
    • Information relating to legal and commercial developments in the strata sector.
  • Except to the extent set out in these terms, Bannermans Lawyers will collect, hold, use and distribute any personal information relating to you in accordance with Bannermans Lawyers privacy policy, which may be viewed here.
