Is a by-law that prohibits all pets of ‘no force or effect’?

A by-law that prohibits all pets in a building will be of no force or effect pursuant to the new Section 137B of the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 (NSW) (SSMA) which came into effect on 24 August 2021. An owners corporation can have a by-law that prohibits all pets in limited circumstances.
