Step 1 – Draft the by-law
Step 2 – Submit it for inclusion in the next general meeting agenda
Step 3 – The agenda is issued
Step 4 – The general meeting occurs and the by-law is approved
Step 5 – Consolidation of by-laws
Step 6 – Registration of the by-law
Step 7 – Start your renovations

If the by-law is not approved at the general meeting an application to order to make the by-law can be sought in the NSW Civil and Administration Tribunal.
