Jasper has been working at Bannermans since October 2024. Prior to joining Bannermans, he worked at a boutique law firm in Southern Sydney initially as a graduate and then as a lawyer running the day-to-day carriage of litigation matters including building and construction disputes and contractual disputes, from providing advice to the client, preparing letters of demand, preparing applications commencing proceedings and running the proceedings until determination of the Court or Tribunal.
Since joining Bannermans, Jasper has worked in the Building and Construction team, undertaking the following work:
Building and Construction
Advising owners corporations on building defects, insurance claims, legal remedies, relevant limitations periods and current issues such as combustible cladding.
Acting for owners corporations of various sizes, against builders and developers in building defect disputes.
Appearing on behalf of owners corporations in building defect claims in the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal and Supreme Court of NSW.
Drafting applications for building defect claims in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Briefing and engaging with technical building experts such as consultant specialists, surveyors and engineers.
Assisting owners corporations in relation to the enforcement and supervision of work orders and settlement agreements for rectification works.
Drafting settlement deeds and agreements.

Bachelor of Laws (Macquarie University, Sydney) 2023.
Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice 2024.
Admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW.
Admitted as a Lawyer of the High Court of Australia.
Member of the Law Society of NSW.
