Susan Myers

Susan Myers has worked in the legal industry for over 25 years and brings diverse experience and skills to Bannermans Lawyers. During her career she has worked in a variety of legal practice roles involving areas of private and commercial law including sale and purchase of businesses, property dealings and litigation including negotiation and mediation. Susan has held teaching roles at The Foundation Studies Division of University of NSW, Real Estate and Accounting Courses at TAFE NSW and as a senior lecturer at The College of Law Sydney including teaching assignments in London and major capital cities of Australia.

Susan is a qualified lawyer on the roll of The Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and holds a Graduate Certificate of Management from the University of New England.

Susan has a keen interest in ethics, legal professional skills and professional responsibility. She is a member of Quality in Law and is the Quality Co-ordinator for the firm with responsibility for maintaining standards and LAW 9000 certification. As the firm’s Compliance Officer , she also conducts reviews and regular in house training sessions for lawyers and administrative staff on drafting, legal professional responsibilities, skills and ethics.

Since joining Bannermans Lawyers in 2007 as a senior associate, Susan has supervised the levy recovery team including all bankruptcy and winding up proceedings in the Federal Magistrates Court and the Federal Court of Australia . She has an excellent understanding of the strata title industry and the needs of clients in the industry.
