Further to recent implementation of the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 a new Australian Standard for defect report reports for group title buildings has been developed and public consultation is occurring and submissions close on 21 March 2017.

Some of you may recognise the draft as a modified version of the Australian Standard utilised for pre-purchase inspections for houses and unfortunately, a lot more is needed to make it suitable for group title buildings for use in the legislative environment of NSW.
